Provided are a spacer for a multi-layer glass and a multi-layer glass, wherein the amount of coating of a spacer seal material onto the spacer for the multi-layer glass is adjusted readily. This spacer 10 comprises: a spacer main body 30; a pair of protruding sections 32, 34; and an elastic body 36 connected to at least one protruding section 34 from among the pair of protruding sections 32, 34, that blocks a recessed space 38.
