VULCANISABLE SILICONE COMPOSITIONS
A moisture curable composition capable of cure to an elastomeric body, the composition comprising (i) an organopolysiloxane having not less than two silicon-bonded hydroxyl or hydrolysable groups per molecule and a viscosity of from 1,000 to 75,000 mPa.s at 25oC, (ii) a siloxane and/or silane cross-linker (iii) an organosilicate resin comprising SiO4/2 (Q) siloxane units and R2 3SiO1/2 (M) siloxane units wherein each R2 is selected from hydrocarbon groups, -OH and/or alkoxy containing groups and which M groups are reactive with components (i) and/or (ii) and (iv) a condensation cure catalyst. The resin is used to reinforce the composition.
Composition durcissable à l'humidité pouvant durcir sur un corps élastomère, la composition comprenant (i) un organopolysiloxane contenant au moins deux groupes hydroxyle ou hydrolysables liés au silicium par molécule et présentant une viscosité de 1 000 à 75 000 mPa.s à 25oC, (ii) un agent de réticulation siloxane et/ou silane, (iii) une résine d'organosilicate comprenant des unités siloxane SiO4/2 (Q) et des unités siloxane R2 3SiO1/2 (M), chaque R2 étant choisi parmi des groupes hydrocarbonés et des groupes contenant -OH et/ou un alcoxy, et les groupes M étant réactifs avec les composants (i) et/ou (ii) et (iv) un catalyseur de durcissement par condensation. La résine permet de renforcer la composition.
