SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ROLLCOVER ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION
A rollcover mechanism for a rollcover on a vehicle enables the rollcover to be movable between a fully open position and a fully closed position. The mechanism includes: an electric control unit (ECU); a first actuator disposed on the vehicle and operatively connected to the rollcover and the ECU; and a second actuator disposed on the vehicle and operatively connected to the rollcover and the ECU. The ECU is configured to operate the rollcover such that when the rollcover is stationary and partially open, the first actuator initiates movement of the rollcover toward the open position, and the second actuator initiates movement of the rollcover toward the closed position
L'invention concerne un mécanisme de capot roulant pour un capot roulant sur un véhicule, lequel permet au capot roulant d'être mobile entre une position complètement ouverte et une position complètement fermée. Le mécanisme comprend : une unité de commande électrique (ECU) ; un premier actionneur disposé sur le véhicule et relié fonctionnellement au capot roulant et à l'ECU ; et un second actionneur disposé sur le véhicule et relié fonctionnellement au capot roulant et à l'ECU. L'ECU est configurée pour faire fonctionner le capot roulant de telle sorte que, lorsque le capot roulant est stationnaire et partiellement ouvert, le premier actionneur déclenche le mouvement du capot roulant vers la position ouverte, et le second actionneur déclenche le mouvement du capot roulant vers la position fermée.
