A raft foundation apparatus has modules (2 - 8) each having a body of insulation material, the body having a dovetail socket (21) which allows it to be connected to another module by a bridging lock (10) with opposed dovetails. A raft foundation of desired configuration can be assembled on site by inter-connecting the modules according to the architectural design. The modules may, in various examples, have raised platforms (22, 31, 41, 61, 71, 81) which provide greater surface area for contact with poured concrete and hence addition structural strength.
L'invention concerne un appareil de dalle flottante de fondation ayant des modules (2 - 8) ayant chacun un corps en matériau isolant, le corps ayant un support en queue d'aronde (21) qui lui permet d'être relié à un autre module par un verrou de pontage (10) avec des queues d'aronde opposées. Une dalle flottante de fondation de configuration souhaitée peut être assemblée sur place en reliant ensemble les modules selon la conception architecturale. Les modules peuvent, selon divers exemples, avoir des plates-formes en relief (22, 31, 41, 61, 71, 81) qui fournissent une plus grande surface de contact avec du béton coulé et par conséquent une résistance structurale supplémentaire.
