A processing unit (122) assesses, on the basis of the first authentication information and the second authentication information, whether each of the first contactless authentication and the second contactless authentication is valid, and controls the operation of a controlled device (21) when it has been assessed that both the first contactless authentication and the second contactless authentication are valid.
