COMPOSITE BUILDING MATERIALS WITH A TEXTURED SURFACE
The present invention relates to the field of composite building materials, such as building sheets or panels having a textured surface as well as to methods for the production thereof and applications thereof as roofing, façade, flooring or decking elements. In particular, the present invention provides composite building materials, having at least one irregularly textured surface comprising a plurality of projections and depressions characterized in that the distance x (as measured perpendicularly to the plane X of the building element) between the highest point of a projection and the lowest point of a depression is between 400 μm and 2000 μm. In particular embodiments, the total surface area of said irregularly textured surface is increased by 0,1% to 15% as compared to a non-textured surface area of the same material and with the same dimensions as the irregularly textured surface.
La présente invention concerne le domaine des matériaux composites de construction, tels que des feuilles ou des panneaux de construction possédant une surface texturée, ainsi que des procédés pour leur production et leurs applications en tant qu'éléments de toiture, de façade, de revêtement de sol ou de plancher. En particulier, la présente invention concerne des matériaux composites de construction possédant au moins une surface texturée de façon irrégulière comprenant une pluralité de saillies et de creux, caractérisés en ce que la distance x (telle que mesurée perpendiculairement au plan X de l'élément de construction) entre le point le plus haut d'une saillie et le point le plus bas d'un creux est comprise entre 400 µm et 2000 µm. Dans des modes de réalisation en particulier, la surface totale de ladite surface texturée de manière irrégulière est augmentée de 0,1 % à 15 % par rapport à une surface non texturée du même matériau et possédant les mêmes dimensions que la surface texturée de manière irrégulière.
