14 ABSTRACT The disclosure relates to a door drive mechanism (2) for moving a sliding door (1) between an open and a closed position in an opening (7), comprising a drive roller (4) configured to be mounted at a wall/structure defining the opening and in rotatable engagement with a first driving portion (37,38) of a first door leaf (3), wherein the first driving 5 portion (37,38) has a first driving length, and wherein the drive roller (4) is configured to move the first door leaf (3) when the drive roller (4) is rotated in engagement with the first driving portion (37,38). L'invention concerne un mécanisme d'entraînement de porte (2) servant à déplacer une porte coulissante (1) entre une position ouverte et une position fermée dans une ouverture (7). Ledit mécanisme comprend un rouleau d'entraînement (4) configuré pour être monté au niveau d'une paroi/structure définissant l'ouverture et en prise rotative avec une première partie d'entraînement (37, 38) d'un premier battant de porte (3), la première partie d'entraînement (37,38) présentant une première longueur d'entraînement, et le rouleau d'entraînement (4) étant configuré pour déplacer le premier battant de porte (3) lorsque le rouleau d'entraînement (4) est mis en rotation en prise avec la première partie d'entraînement (37,38).
