Provided is a shovel 100, wherein when intrusion of an obstacle into a predetermined area around the shovel 100 or an unstable condition of the shovel 100 is sensed, an operator of the shovel 100 is notified of the sensed danger, a behavior of the operator after the notification is detected, and a safety behavior evaluation value, obtained by quantitative evaluation of the behavior of the operator in terms of contribution to safety, is calculated on the basis of the content of the sensed danger and the detected behavior of the operator.
