The invention is directed to a macro-synthetic fiber consisting of three or more partially fused filaments made of a polymer composition comprising at least one polypropylene, wherein the fiber has a multi- lobal cross-sectional shape with three or more lobes. The invention is also directed to a method for producing macro-synthetic fibers, to a cementitious material comprising a binder and macro-synthetic fibers of the present invention, and to a method for forming a concrete surface using a concrete mixture modified with the macro-synthetic fibers of the present invention.
L'invention concerne une fibre macrosynthétique constituée de trois filaments partiellement fondus ou plus constitués d'une composition polymère comprenant au moins un polypropylène, la fibre ayant une forme de section transversale multilobée avec trois lobes ou plus. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de fibres macrosynthétiques, un matériau cimentaire comprenant un liant et des fibres macrosynthétiques de la présente invention, et un procédé de formation d'une surface en béton à l'aide d'un mélange de béton modifié avec les fibres macrosynthétiques de la présente invention.
