POLYOLEFIN COMPOSITION FOR ROOFING APPLICATIONS
A soft polyolefin composition comprising for producing sheets or membranes, the polyolefin composition comprising: (A) 18-35% by weight of a copolymer of propylene with at least one alpha-olefin, wherein the copolymer contains 2.0-4.0% by weight of alpha-olefin, the amount of alpha-olefin is based on the weight of (A) and has melt flow rate (MFRA) ranging from 30 to 60 g/10min; and (B) 65-82% by weight of a copolymer of propylene with at least one alpha-olefin, and optionally a diene, the copolymer comprising 20-35% by weight of alpha-olefin, the amount of alpha olefin being based on the weight of (B), wherein - the polyolefin composition comprises a fraction that is soluble in xylene at 25°C (XS(tot)) in an amount higher than 70% by weight; - the amounts of (A), (B) and of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25°C (XS(tot)) are based on the total weight of the polyolefin composition; and - the melt flow rate (MFR) of the polyolefin composition ranges from 0.2 to 2.0 g/10 min.
L'invention concerne une composition de polyoléfine souple, y compris pour la production de feuilles ou de membranes, la composition de polyoléfine comprenant : (A) 18 à 35 % en poids d'un copolymère de propylène avec au moins une alpha-oléfine, le copolymère contenant 2,0 à 4,0 % en poids d'alpha-oléfine, la quantité d'alpha-oléfine étant basée sur le poids de (A) et ayant un indice de fluidité (MFRA) allant de 30 à 60 g/10 min ; et (B) 65 à 82 % en poids d'un copolymère de propylène avec au moins une alpha-oléfine et éventuellement un diène, le copolymère comprenant 20 à 35 % en poids d'alpha-oléfine, la quantité d'alpha-oléfine étant basée sur le poids de (B), - la composition de polyoléfine comprenant une fraction qui est soluble dans le xylène à 25 °C (XS(tot)) en une quantité supérieure à 70 % en poids ; - les quantités de (A), (B) et de la fraction soluble dans le xylène à 25 °C (XS(tot)) étant basées sur le poids total de la composition de polyoléfine ; et - l'indice de fluidité (MFR) de la composition de polyoléfine étant compris entre 0,2 et 2,0 g/10 min.
