An apparatus for removing bad odor from a toilet bowl according to the present invention comprises: a main body case which is installed to be located in the upper space, which does not contain water, of a water tank of the toilet bowl, has a rectangular shape that is elongated vertically, and has a suction pipe formed on the lower surface and a discharge pipe formed on the upper side surface thereof; and a suction fan which is located inside the main body case, wherein the suction fan includes a fan case, having a rectangular shape, and a circular fan, and is located between the suction pipe and the discharge pipe in the main body case. The suction fan is coupled such that the outer side surface of the fan case of the suction fan is in close contact with the inner surface of the main body case, and thus, the inside of the main body case is divided into upper and lower portions, that is, a suction area and a discharge area. The discharge pipe is formed in a 'ㄱ' shape such that the upper end portion is located to communicate with the discharge area of the main body case and the lower end portion is submerged in the water contained in the water tank of the toilet bowl. A plurality of discharge holes are formed in the side surface of the lower end portion of the discharge pipe, which is submerged in the water, and the suction pipe is hermetically coupled to the upper end of an overflow pipe that is located in the upper space of the water tank of the toilet bowl, which does not contain water. Thus, when the suction fan is driven, bad odor from the toilet bowl is introduced into the suction pipe through the overflow pipe and is discharged into the water in the water tank through the discharge holes in the discharge pipe.
