Die Erfindung betrifft eine Antriebseinrichtung (1) zum Verschwenken eines Flügels (44) um eine Flügelachse (F), insbesondere eines Türflügels oder eines Fensterflügels, mit einem Motor-Getriebe-Modul (3), wobei das Motor-Getriebe-Modul (3) eine elektrische Maschine (6) mit einer Maschinenachse (X1) und ein Getriebe (7) mit einer um eine Abtriebsachse (X2) drehbar gelagerten Abtriebswelle (8) aufweist. Die elektrische Maschine (6) ist zumindest teilweise, insbesondere vollständig, in einem Bauraum zwischen der Flügelachse (F) und der Abtriebsachse (X2) angeordnet ist.
