Disclosed is a concrete block (1) for an earth retaining wall, comprising a body (10) that has a front face (10A), a rear face (10B), a bottom face (10D) and a top face (10C), the block (1) comprising a foot (20) projecting from the rear face (10B) of the body (10), the foot (20) comprising a connecting portion (21) connected to the rear face (10B) of the body (10) at an end referred to as the "connecting" end (21A) and extending along a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the plane of the rear face (10B) of the body (10), and a support portion (22) extending from the connecting portion (21) along a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the connecting portion (21) up to a free end (22A).
