The present invention relates to a method for inerting clays in hydraulic compositions intended for construction, said method comprising a step of adding to the hydraulic composition or to one of the constituents thereof at least one clay-inerting agent, characterised in that the clay-inerting agent is a water-soluble polymer comprising acrylamide and/or vinylamine and/or vinylformamide monomer units, and optionally monomer units of a chemical nature different from the abovementioned chemical natures, and characterised in that its weight-average molecular weight is between Mw L and Mw H.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'inertage des argiles dans des compositions hydrauliques destinées à la construction, ledit procédé comprenant une étape consistant à ajouter à la composition hydraulique ou à l'un de ses constituants au moins un agent d'inertage d'argile, caractérisé en ce que l'agent d'inertage d'argile est un polymère hydrosoluble comprenant des unités monomériques acrylamide, et/ou vinylamine, et/ou vinylformamide, et optionnellement des unités monomériques de nature chimique différente des susdites natures chimiques, et caractérisé en ce que son poids moléculaire moyen en poids est compris entre Mw L et Mw H.
