A side rail assembly useful for securing a deck of a scaffold comprises a side rail configured to be supported between two ladder frames in first and second orientations. The side rail includes first and second support surfaces for supporting the deck in the first and second orientations, respectively. First and second vertically aligned slots are formed in respective opposing surfaces of the side rail. The side rail assembly further comprises a locking pin assembly comprising a shaft, a locking tab, and a biasing member to bias the locking tab into engagement with the deck and secure the deck against one of the support surfaces of the side rail depending on the orientation. The locking pin assembly is configured to be removably engaged with the first and second slots of the side rail in both the first and second orientations.
L'invention concerne un ensemble rail latéral utile pour fixer un plancher d'un échafaudage comprenant un rail latéral conçu pour être supporté entre deux cadres d'échelle dans des première et seconde orientations. Le rail latéral comprend des première et seconde surfaces de support servant à supporter le plancher respectivement dans les première et seconde orientations. Des première et seconde fentes alignées verticalement sont formées dans des surfaces opposées respectives du rail latéral. L'ensemble rail latéral comprend en outre un ensemble broche de verrouillage comprenant un arbre, une languette de verrouillage et un élément de sollicitation servant à solliciter la languette de verrouillage en prise avec le plancher et à fixer le plancher contre l'une des surfaces de support du rail latéral en fonction de l'orientation. L'ensemble broche de verrouillage est conçu pour être mis en prise de manière amovible avec les première et seconde fentes du rail latéral dans les première et seconde orientations.
