A folding ladder, comprising a left leg frame (1), a right leg frame (2), and at least two steps (3); the left leg frame (1) and the right leg frame (2) each comprise two support legs (10), the support legs (10) corresponding to the left leg frame (1) and the right leg frame (2) being connected to each other at the top by means of a hinge apparatus (11), the support legs (10) having a plurality of support parts (8) of different heights, and the two ends of each step (3) being hinged respectively to corresponding support parts (8); the length of the at least two steps (3) is the same so that the left leg frame (1) and the right leg frame (2) are arranged in parallel, clamping notches (9) being formed at the top of two ends of each step (3), a bendable structure and a step pivot (4) being arranged in the middle of the step (3), and a balance component (5) detachably connected to the top of the right leg frame (2) being provided at the top of the left leg frame (1). The present folding ladder has a compact overall structure and is stable under stress, and facilitates transportation and batch production.
