Movable stands comprise a plurality of floor stands (10) and a plurality of legs (30) that horizontally support the floor stands (10) and can move the floor stands forwards and backward. The leg (30) includes: a mode switching unit (50) provided with a first stopper (34) capable of moving forward the floor stand (10) and the floor stand (10) one level below while interlocking the floor stands in a state in which the floor stands are displaced stepwise, and a second stopper (52) that is provided at the leg (30) of a first floor stand constituting a set composed by some of the plurality of floor stands (10), that is configured to be capable of projecting toward the legs (30) of the remaining floor stands (10) of the set and retracting, and that engages with the legs (30) of the remaining floor stands (10) so that the floor stands (10) of the set can be moved while being interlocked and vertically aligned, the mode switching unit (50) being movable between a stowage position and a normal use position or a shortened use position, and switching between the protruding state and retracted state of the second stoppers (52); and a switching drive unit (60) arranged behind the legs in the stowage position. A plurality of sets of mode switching units (50) are integrally driven to switch between the protruding state and retracted state of the plurality of sets of second stoppers (52) in conjunction with the driving of the switching drive unit (60) in the stowage position.
