The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a method for producing a coating film, the method enabling the production of a coating film which has good matting properties even in cases where a solvent-free coating composition is used; and preferably, a method for producing a coating film, the method enabling the production of a coating film which achieves good coating film durability, while being capable of suppressing odor during the time of application, and which has good matting properties even in cases where a smooth surface is coated.　A method for producing a coating film according to the present disclosure comprises: a step in which a first coating film is formed by applying a first coating composition to an object to be coated; a step in which a second coating composition is applied onto the first coating film within the time from immediately after the application of the first coating composition to the object to be coated to the time point when the first coating film has been cured and dried, thereby forming a multilayer coating film in which the first coating film and the second coating film are stacked; and a step in which a coating film is formed by curing the multilayer coating film. With respect to this method for producing a coating film, the first coating composition is a two-pack type coating composition which contains a solvent-free base material and a solvent-free curing agent; and the second coating composition contains fine silica particles and a hydrophilic medium.

La présente invention aborde le problème consistant à fournir : un procédé de production d'un film de revêtement, le procédé permettant la production d'un film de revêtement ayant de bonnes propriétés de matage même lorsqu'une composition de revêtement sans solvant est utilisée ; et, de préférence, un procédé de production d'un film de revêtement, le procédé permettant la production d'un film de revêtement qui réalise une bonne durabilité du film de revêtement tout en étant susceptible d'inhiber les odeurs pendant la durée de l'application, et qui présente de bonnes propriétés de matage même lorsqu'une une surface lisse est revêtue.　Un procédé de production d'un film de revêtement selon la présente invention comprend une étape lors de laquelle un premier film de revêtement est formé par application d'une première composition de revêtement sur un objet à revêtir ; une étape lors de laquelle une seconde composition de revêtement est appliquée sur le premier film de revêtement pendant le laps de temps compris entre immédiatement après l'application de la première composition de revêtement sur l'objet à revêtir et l'instant où le premier film de revêtement a été durci et séché, ce qui va former un film de revêtement multicouche dans lequel il y a empilement du premier film de revêtement et du second film de revêtement ; et une étape lors de laquelle un film de revêtement est formé par durcissement du film de revêtement multicouche. Dans ce procédé de production d'un film de revêtement, la première composition de revêtement est une composition de revêtement du type bicomposant qui contient un matériau de base sans solvant et un agent de durcissement sans solvant ; et la seconde composition de revêtement contient des particules fines de silice et un milieu hydrophile.
