The present invention relates to a trench shoring apparatus (10), comprising: · first (12a) and second (12b) side panels having a top edge, a bottom edge and side edges, the first and second side panels being connected in a parallel spaced-apart configuration by a transverse strut being mounted proximate each side edge thereof and nearer the top edge than the bottom edge; and · actuator means (52) being operable to vary the length of the transverse strut from a first length to a second length.
La présente invention concerne un appareil d'étayage de tranchée (10), comprenant : un premier (12a) et second (12b) panneaux latéraux ayant un bord supérieur, un bord inférieur et des bords latéraux, les premier et second panneaux latéraux étant reliés dans une configuration espacée parallèle par une entretoise transversale qui est montée à proximité de chaque bord latéral de ceux-ci et plus proche du bord supérieur que le bord inférieur ; et des moyens actionneurs (52) pouvant fonctionner pour faire varier la longueur de l'entretoise transversale d'une première longueur à une seconde longueur.
