Gemisch zur Herstellung von Beton, wobei das Gemisch Pflanzenkohle, insbesondere pyrolisierte Pflanzenkohle, enthält, Frischbeton/Mörtel oder ausgehärtetes Betonprodukt hergestellt aus dem Gemisch, sowie die Verwendung von Pflanzenkohle als Zuschlagsstoff in Beton/Mörtel zur Reduktion des Netto-CO2-Ausstosses der Betonproduktion, insbesondere zur Erreichung eines Netto-CO2-Ausstosses der Beton- und Mörtelproduktion von Netto-Null oder darunter. Insbesondere ist die Erfindung auf ein Gemisch aus Pflanzenkohle und Zement gerichtet.
