A cord locking mechanism for a window blinds assembly is disclosed that prevents the hazardous looping of the internal lift line cord of a window blinds assembly. Each blind slat comprises tapered apertures that are adapted to lock the lift line cord when a non-vertical force is applied to the lift line cord thereby preventing further extension of the cord and formation of a hazardous loop.
L'invention concerne un mécanisme de verrouillage de cordon pour un ensemble store de fenêtre qui empêche une boucle dangereuse du cordon de ligne de levage intérieure d'un ensemble store de fenêtre. Chaque lamelle de store comprend des ouvertures coniques qui sont conçues pour verrouiller le cordon de ligne de levage lorsqu'une force non verticale est appliquée au cordon de ligne de levage, ce qui empêche une extension supplémentaire du cordon et la formation d'une boucle dangereuse.
