Provided is a component attachment member securing tool which makes it possible to secure a component attachment member, which makes it possible to attach a desired article thereto, to a fragile wall surface such as drywall, so as to arrive at sufficient strength by using a simple operation. While a first fastening part 14 and a second fastening part 15 contact a wall surface 50a, the present invention pushes nails 20, which are inserted into guide holes 14a, 15a, into the wall surface 50a, and fastens the same to said wall surface 50a. The present invention inserts an engageable part 41 of the component attachment member 40 into a space S formed by an engagement wall 11, a first lateral wall 12 and a second lateral wall 13, causes the engagement wall 11 and the engageable part 41 of the component attachment member 40, which has been inserted into the space S, to engage one another, and secures the component attachment member 40 to a desired location on the wall surface 50a. It is preferable for the engageable part 41 and the engagement wall 11 to be joined to one another by a joining means (for example, a screw member, a nail or a pin, an adhesive, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, a magnet, or the like).
