Stadium comprising: a first level (1) with a pitch (120) divided into a plurality of self-supporting units (4); a second level (2) under the first level (1) which houses the plurality of self-supporting units (4), both levels (1, 2) being arranged in communication with one another via a pit (3); horizontal movement means (26) for moving each self-supporting unit (4); and vertical movement means (15) for moving each self-supporting unit (4) in the pit (3), comprising a first platform (5') which can be moved in the pit (3) between an initial position aligned with the first level (1), closing the pit (3), and an end position, and a second platform (14) which can be moved in the pit (3) between an initial position aligned with the first platform (5') when said first platform (5') is located in the end position and an end position, with the second platform (14) aligned with the second level (2).
