A method for refilling an aquifer includes establishing an air extraction well into the aquifer. The aquifer includes a water table of groundwater. A vacuum pump is coupled in flow communication to the air extraction well. The vacuum pump is then activated to remove air from the aquifer, thereby reducing a subsurface air pressure and facilitating refilling the aquifer with groundwater.
Un procédé de recharge d'un aquifère consiste en l'établissement d'un puits d'extraction d'air dans l'aquifère. L'aquifère comprend une table d'eau d'eau souterraine. Une pompe à vide est couplée en communication fluidique au puits d'extraction d'air. La pompe à vide est ensuite activée pour éliminer l'air de l'aquifère, ce qui permet de réduire une pression d'air souterraine et de faciliter la recharge de l'aquifère avec de l'eau souterraine.
