Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer dekorativen Oberfläche auf einem Werkstück (1) mit folgenden Schritten offenbart: - Schritt (S1): Bereitstellen eines Werkstücks (1) mit einer Werkstückoberfläche (1a) auf der sich ein Basisdekor (2) befindet; - Schritt (S2): Erfassen des Basisdekors (2) auf der Werkstückoberfläche (1a) mit einer Erfassungseinrichtung (20); - Schritt (S3): Vermessen des erfassten Basisdekors (2); - Schritt (S4): Bereitstellen einer Sollzusatzdekorvorlage (200) für ein Zusatzdekor (3), wobei die Sollzusatzdekorvorlage (200) synchron zu einem Sollbasisdekor (150) ausgebildet ist; - Schritt (S5): Anpassen der Sollzusatzdekorvorlage (200) auf Basis des vermessenen Basisdekors, so dass eine angepasste Sollzusatzdekorvorlage (200') vorliegt, nach der das Zusatzdekor zumindest teilweise synchron zum Basisdekor aufgebracht werden kann; - Schritt (S6): Aufbringen des Zusatzdekors (3) auf das Werkstück (1) oberhalb des Basisdekors (2) gemäß der angepassten Sollzusatzdekorvorlage (200') mit einer Aufbringungsvorrichtung (30). L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une surface décorative sur une pièce (1), comprenant les étapes suivantes : - étape (S1) : fourniture d'une pièce (1) avec une surface de pièce (1a) sur laquelle est située une décoration de base (2) ; - étape (S2) : détection de la décoration de base (2) sur la surface de pièce (1a) à l'aide d'un dispositif de détection (20) ; - étape (S3) : mesure de la décoration de base détectée (2) ; - étape (S4) : fourniture d'un modèle de décoration supplémentaire cible (200) pour une décoration supplémentaire (3), le modèle de décoration supplémentaire cible (200) étant synchrone avec une décoration de base cible (150) ; - étape (S5) : adaptation du modèle de décoration supplémentaire cible (200) sur la base de la décoration de base mesurée de façon à obtenir un modèle de décoration supplémentaire cible adapté (200') selon lequel la décoration supplémentaire peut être appliquée au moins partiellement synchronisée avec la décoration de base ; - étape (S6) : utilisation d'un dispositif d'application (30) pour appliquer la décoration supplémentaire (3) à la pièce (1) au-dessus de la décoration de base (2) conformément au modèle de décoration supplémentaire cible adapté (200').
