EXPLOSION RELIEF PANELS
An explosion relief assembly for an enclosed volume comprises first (18, 22) and second (16, 20, 24) supports defining an opening therebetween, and a panel (8, 10, 12, 14) mounted on the first support (18, 22) and extending across the opening and having a free edge adjacent to the second support (16, 20, 24). The second support (16, 20, 24) comprises a retaining lip (50) having an inner surface (52) facing towards the enclosed volume. The free edge (42) of the panel resting against the inner surface (52) of the retaining lip. The panel (8, 10, 12, 14) is generally bowed outwards away from the enclosed volume between the first support (18,22) and the free edge (42) of the panel.
Un ensemble de sûreté anti-explosion pour un volume fermé comprend des premier (18, 22) et second (16, 20, 24) supports délimitant une ouverture entre eux, et un panneau (8, 10, 12, 14) monté sur le premier support (18, 22) et s'étendant à travers l'ouverture et ayant un bord libre adjacent au second support (16, 20, 24). Le second support (16, 20, 24) comprend une lèvre de retenue (50) ayant une surface interne (52) faisant face au volume fermé.
