The present invention relates to an odor-removing toilet having a suction-type ventilation structure, the toilet which is structured to be differentiated from a conventional toilet in that odor generated during defecation is immediately discharged and the surroundings thereof can be maintained and managed to be more pleasant because of an improvement in the overall structure of the toilet and employment of a blower and a sensor, and a speaker is used to provide a sound function so as to relieve tension and a sense of shame caused by bowel movement sounds during defecation, thereby inducing smooth defecation, and thus convenience of use or efficiency is maximally induced through the simplicity of handling, use, maintenance, management and repair and the like thereof. The toilet comprises: a body (10) for accommodating excrement; a seat part (20) laid on the body so that a user is permitted to sit thereon; a cover part (30) overlaid on the seat part so as to shield the body; a water tank (40) for supplying the stored water to the body; and a discharge part (50) for draining accommodated sewage by means of the principle of a siphon, and has a purification unit (60) in which a fan and a motor are provided, which is connected to each of the body and the discharge part through pipes, and suctions, by means of the selective driving of the fan, the odor generated from the body and transfers and discharges same through the discharge part.
