The invention relates to a closure device (1) for a shipment container, the device comprising a male connector (2) comprising a body (6) provided with a first locking member and a female connector (3) comprising a first portion (15) and a second portion (16) that are movable relative to one another between a spaced-apart position and a close-together position. The female connector (3) comprises return means that urge the portions (15, 16) towards a spaced-apart position. The portions (15, 16) define, in the close-together position, a cavity that accommodates the body (6). The first portion (15) comprises a second locking member, complementary to the first locking member, in order to lock the body (6) in the cavity when they co-operate with one another. The closure device (1) comprises a member (4) for sealing the female connector in the close-together position, the removal of which causes the female connector to return to the spaced-apart position.
