The purpose of the present invention is to monitor the condition of ballast with reference to the fine particle size of a mass placed as the ballast. This ballast condition monitoring system comprises: an input unit into which imaging data obtained by imaging the surface condition of ballast is input; and a processing unit that executes processing based on the imaging data. The processing unit calculates a statistic on the basis of the imaging data, and determines whether maintenance is necessary on the basis of the statistic.
Le but de la présente invention est de surveiller l'état de ballast concernant la taille de particule fine d'une masse placée en tant que ballast. Ce système de surveillance d'état de ballast comprend : une unité d'entrée dans laquelle des données d'imagerie obtenues par imagerie de l'état de surface du ballast sont entrées ; et une unité de traitement qui exécute un traitement à partir des données d'imagerie.
