ARTIFICIAL WAVE GENERATION SYSTEM FOR WAKE-SURFING
A system (10) for forming artificial waves on surface of water is disclosed. The system (10) has a pulling apparatus (14) installed on a stationary surface, a pulled apparatus (16) being a floating structure having a shape configured to form artificial waves when the pulled apparatus (16) moves on the surface of water, and a line (22) coupling the pulled apparatus (16) with the pulling apparatus (14) for pulling the pulled apparatus (16) to form the artificial waves. A configuration of the pulled apparatus 16 is disclosed for obtaining optimum bow (34) and stern wakes (46).
Un système (10) permettant de former des vagues artificielles sur la surface de l'eau est divulgué. Le système (10) comprend un appareil de traction (14) installé sur une surface fixe, un appareil tiré (16) étant une structure flottante présentant une forme configurée pour former des vagues artificielles lorsque l'appareil tiré (16) se déplace sur la surface de l'eau, et une ligne (22) couplant l'appareil tiré (16) à l'appareil de traction (14) pour tirer l'appareil tiré (16) afin de former les vagues artificielles. Une configuration de l'appareil tiré (16) est divulguée pour obtenir des sillages de proue (34) et de poupe (46) optimaux.
