Enhanced coagulation of low turbidity and low temperature surface water by potassium permanganate composite pre-oxidation
Pilot scale experiments were carried out to find the principle of potassium permanganate composite (PPC) pre oxidation enhanced coagulation for pollutants removal in low turbidity surface water during low temperature season. The results showed that significant enhanced coagulation effect can be achieved with PPC pre-oxidation. Furthermore, the small molecule organics were analyzed in this research and higher organic matters removal efficiency could be achieved in the PPC enhanced coagulation process.
