Nonlinear finite element program design for control of cracking of super-long concrete frame structure
Nonlinear finite element procedure for control of cracking of 2-D concrete frame structures was programmed based on APDL parametric design language of ANSYS procedure. The program was designed for computing thermal internal force and corresponding crack width of members for super-long concrete frame structures under dead loads, prestressing force and monotone temperature variations. In this program, member system element was adopted, effect of concrete creep and concrete cracking and ratio of reinforcements was considered. It solved some problems such as too more element number, inconvenience of extraction results because of using solid elements and without considering concrete creep. By this program, thermal internal force of super-long concrete frame structure was quantified to guide engineering design.
