Flexural Bearing Capacity of Embedded H-shaped Steel Pile-abutment Joints
In order to study the flexural bearing capacity of integral abutment bridge's H-shaped steel pile-abutment joints, the bending models and bearing capacity calculation formulas corresponding to different failure modes of the joint are proposed by theoretical analysis. In addition, the theoretical calculation results is compared with test results, and the results show that the theoretical calculation formula can accurately predict the flexural bearing capacity of embedded H-shaped steel pile-abutment joints with different failure modes. The research results can provide reference for the analysis and design of abutment joints of integral abutment bridges.
