For the problem of traditional multimedia 3-D industrial products display methods can only realize single-direction playing and don’t have interactive operation. A way of virtual industrial product display based on virtual reality is put forward. The whole system designed by the combination of software technology such as Java, EAI, SAI and VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language). The interactive control of the scene and industrial products are realized by the communications between Java Applet web browser and VRML. The designing of this system have a good effect on the expression of product design and display design in industrial design domain.
