Sequential Cooling Load Calculation for Office Buildings in Low-Carbon Parks
In the current global context of heightened attention to climate change and environmental issues, energy efficiency and building carbon reduction have become crucial factors driving sustainable urban development. Office buildings play a significant role in low-carbon parks, making calculating their cooling loads particularly critical. However, the cooling load of buildings is often a laborious task involving the collection of building information data and lengthy model calibration procedures. Regarding the issues mentioned above, we analyze in detail the composition of cooling loads of office buildings and utilize a cooling load coefficient method to compute sequential cooling loads of typical office buildings. Through real-world case studies in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou in China, we provide a reliable reference for office buildings' daily sequential cooling loads. This study provides decision-making support for low-carbon park energy management, contributing to optimizing energy utilization and achieving sustainable and eco-friendly building operations.
