Study on the influence of overburden on the water content of expansive soil slope
The characteristics of expansive soil make it expand and contract when the internal moisture changes, and the slope will be unstable in severe cases. In this article, through the design of four different expansive soil slope models, the change characteristics of water content of expansive soil slopes are explored, and the treatment methods of expansive soil slopes were summarized. The results show that covering the expansive soil slope with cohesive soil and plants can effectively maintain the internal moisture of the expansive soil slope, thereby ensuring the stability of the slope.
