The study of DOA estimation error caused by sensors position error of planar array
Array sensors position error(ASPE) turn nominal array manifold into error manifold, but subspace algorithms still search nominal manifold for Direction of Arrival(DOA), so ASPE degrade the accuracy of DOA estimation algorithms. Nominal manifold and error manifold are surfaces embedded in CN, in this paper, relationships between them and subspaces are analyzed, a new method to determine error of DOA estimation from ASPE is proposed. Simulation results show that the method is valid.
