Coupling and Coordination Analysis of Urban Leisure: A Case Study of Dongguan City
Urban leisure has become an important pillar in enhancing urban competitiveness and sustainable development. Taking the Dongguan city in the Great Bay Area as an example, this paper focuses on coordinated development level of urban leisure from the perspective of coupling theory, and constructs the comprehensive evaluation system of urban leisure system in Dongguan city. Then the coupling coordination model and grey correlation coefficient model are used to empirically analyze the coupling coordination degree and some key factors about urban leisure. During 2008 to 2018, results show that the coupling coordination degree of urban leisure in Dongguan undergoes a rapid rising trend along with the enhancement of urban leisure services, urban leisure environment, and urban leisure life consumption. Factors that have great influence on the development of urban leisure in Dongguan mainly belongs to the urban leisure service and urban leisure environment. Finally, some recommendations are also put forward to promote the development and performance of urban leisure.
