Recent Advancements in Structural Health Monitoring using Optical Sensor
Civil structure monitoring is a mandatory field of research now a days due to the adverse effects of environmental change on the civil structures for various industries. Optical sensing is a well-established field in structural monitoring, however recent advancements in fiber sensing technique are marvelous and open new possibilities of better monitoring. In this study these advancements are reviewed based on the materials used in optical sensors.
