CAD technology means, as a kind of information and scientific technical means, is widely used in industrial design, product design, art design, architectural design, decoration design and other work under the support of computer technology, laying a good foundation for the design work in various fields of society. This paper will analyze the connotation of CAD technology in detail, put forward the advantages of CAD technology in architectural decoration design, summarize the application skills of CAD technology in architectural decoration design and the strategies to improve the architectural decoration design of CAD technology, so as to effectively promote the development and progress of architectural decoration design in China.
