Shear and Torsion in Reinforced Concrete Beams
The internal forces and critical loads in concrete beams reinforced with stirrups are studied. Three types of loading are examined: simultaneous bending and shear; torsion; simultaneous torsion, bending and shear. Comparisons are made with tests and confirm assumptions relating to the internal loads. (Author)
