Project S-399-E, Dale County, Daleville, Alabama is a proposed improvement to existing Alabama 85 in Daleville beginning near Phillips Street and extending north along Alabama 85 to the entrance of Fort Rucker Military Base. The project consists of improving a present two lane highway or street to a five lane highway and replacing a deteriorated hazardous overpass for the Seaboard Coastline Railroad. The only adverse effect involved with this project will be the approximate 14,000 square feet of additional right of way required for construction and the adverse effect to traffic movements during construction and soil erosion.
