This study is on Traffic Engineering Problems during the Signal Changing Operation of Traffic Lane Signalization. An investigation was made within the framework of the present study as to whether driving through the continuous red 'X' - shaped signal light can be prevented as far as possible by introducing special transition signals in the traffic lane signalization and whether a safer reaction of the vehicle driver can be induced.
