Corridor Location, F. A. Route 25, East Peoria Bypass, Tazewell County, Illinois
The project consists of a corridor study for constructing a bypass around the east side of East Peoria, Illinois, for a length of approximately 6 miles in Tazewell County. The purpose of this project is to improve the flow of north-south traffic. Since this highway will be built where one does not presently exist, there will be a change in the noise level of the area. It is not yet known whether extensive borrow excavation will be needed. The highway construction will have a short-term adverse effect on water pollution.
