Strength Properties of Polymer Cement Concretes
The study is part of a larger project where high tensile strength concretes were developed in Concrete Laboratory of Helsinki University of Technology. Different types of polymers were used in improving flexural strength of concrete. The different polymers studied include styrene butadiene rubbers, polymethyl methacrylate, epoxy resin, polyacrylic ester, polyvinyl acetate, styrene acrylate and pure acrylate.
