Yellow Poplar Glulam Timber Beam Performance
The objectives of the study were to develop and verify a basis for a specification for Yellow Poplar glulam timber. A total of 45 glulam timber beams were manufactured and evaluated. In addition, more than 200 end-jointed lumber specimens were tested in tension to compare individual specimen performance to full-size beam performance.
