The purpose of this project is to improve Georgia 341 in such a manner as to increase traffic capacity and provide better movement of vehicles and pedestrians into and through the community's business district. Alignment of the road is planned to accommodate both the road user and the abutting property owners. Since the proposed road improvement follows an existing route, the impact of this project will be incidental and will acutally conserve valuable land in other locations which have been suggested as possible alternates for Highway 341.
