Loop 256, From State Highway 155, North of Palestine, West and South to U. D. Highway 79, Anderson County, Texas
The primary purpose of this project is to provide for the construction of the final segment of this loop route around the City of Palestine. An increase in the ambient noise level in the immediate vicinity of the proposed facility should result. Approximately 127 acres of land will be converted to long-term use as highway right of way. There will be a slight disturbance to wildlife, and there will probably be a temporary increase in air and water pollution during the construction of the project.
