Moisture Measurements in Building Materials with Microwaves (Rakennusmateriaalien Kosteusmittauksia Mikroaalloilla) (Feuchtemessung mit Mikrowellen in Baumaterialien)
In order to assess the condition and evaluate the reliability of buildings and structures, it is essential to establish the moisture condition of the floor and other structural elements of the building. NDT-methods are increasingly being used for such moisture measurements because they do not cause any damage to the building under investigation. Microwave transmission is one of the NDT-methods and has been in use for several years. In this report, the applicability of the microwave method for measuring moisture in difference building materials was investigated.
