Proposed Land Use Plan for the Centennial Mountain Planning Unit in Idaho
The planning unit is located on the south slopes of the Centennial Mountain range on the Targhee National Forest in east-central Idaho. The Beaver Creek drainage forms the western boundary and the Hotel Creek drainage generally describes the eastern boundary. The purpose of the land use plan is to provide direction for the management of all the resources within the planning unit boundaries and will be used by forest officers in individual resource planning. The flow chart outlines the process that was followed in making the plan. The plan is part of the Forest Service directives system, and supersedes previous multiple use guides.
